When I Heart Faces does their yearly “Pet” themed challenge – it’s both my favorite and my least favorite! I LOVE this theme because I have the best pet & she’s such a fantastic pup, but I hate this theme because I have so many photos of Abby that I love & it’s impossible to choose a favorite!
Plus, there’s so much pressure because this challenge always gets the largest turn-out – I guess folks really really love their pets!
After thinking long and hard and looking through tons of old Abby photos, I keep coming back to this image I took of Abby at the beginning of Autumn. I just couldn’t get it out of my mind – so I figured – that must be the one I should submit.

Oh, that is just too cute! What a perfect shot! I love the sunlight streaming in.
What a fun photo! Totally tells a story of the playfulness of a dog. Not to mention that it makes me feel so warm, which is needed now that the weather is turning cold!
