This kid – not sure what else to say about him – other than to smile and shake my head.
Part of me is worried he is going to run off after he graduates from high school next year & leave my husband without a best friend to come over & hang out once a week [picture D throwing a mini temper-tantrum in the dirt and crying like a baby who’s ice cream was just taken away].
It’s either that – or he is simply going to move into my house. He probably wouldn’t even ask, suddenly he’ll just show up for a “weekend” stay and he simply won’t leave. I’ll have to be on the lookout for that – the day Adam shows up with his pillow, we’re in trouble [he already leaves a toothbrush here and comes to my house armed with his PS3, TV, and duffel bag of clothes].
Either way, I really can’t say too many bad things about this kid. He does keep my husband up wayy too late when he’s over, playing video games while I’d like to be going to bed. But, other than that, he has turned into a pretty cool dude.
I have taken senior photos of Adam 3 times now – fall photos, winter photos, and even tho’ we kind of missed spring, we’ll call these his spring/summer photos! I still have one idea left though that we didn’t get to try – so I think we’ll be doing one more session – good thing this kid is over at my house on a regular basis!
The only thing Adam loves more than playing video games – is baseball. He lives and breathes the game. In fact: this week, he is playing a game every single night – doesn’t matter that it’s 90+˚ outside – he’s crazy!
Did I mention that Adam is best friends with my husband? It’s been a long while since we did a “best friends” shoot, so we had to sneak in a photo of these two crazies!
Great pictures! I love the perspective in some of them.

[…] I could go on, but I’ll just say: I am so blessed to know this sweet family (I took his brother Adam’s senior portraits a few years ago). I cannot wait to see what Zach does with himself in the next few years. He plans […]
