2014 Favorites – Engagements

I have a confession to make: I almost enjoy engagement sessions more than wedding days.
ALMOST.
Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE wedding days! They are my ultimate, top, crazy, favorite things. And in reality, I guess you can’t really compare engagement sessions with wedding days – sure both are spent with the same two people in love, but, that’s about where the similarities end.

In 2014, I rearranged my wedding packages so that every wedding I booked, no matter how big or small, came with an engagement session. It was definitely one of the best decisions I ever made! I SO enjoyed spending time this summer & fall with my couples!! [HA and just like that, if you’ve booked your wedding with me, I now officially own you LOL]  But I had so much fun! I always tell couples: an engagement session with me is fun – we can go wherever you want, please bring along props & changes of clothes, and we’ll just have a grand time! And that’s what we do!

Did I mention that I love that so many of my couples choose to bring along a 3rd wheel – their dogs! Seriously, all of these dogs turned out to be the most well-behaved pups I have ever met – they could teach my Abby a lesson or two, that’s for sure!

So, my next category of favorite photos is engagement sessions from the year 2014 – in absolutely no particular order!

OH & PS – some of these images are from sessions that have never before been seen! That’s because by mid-October, I was shooting so many sessions, it was all I could do to turn the images back around & get them back to folks in a timely manner! I cannot wait to get “caught up” on blogging over the next few weeks & months & show off all the lovely people I photographed recently!
