Kennywood’s Phantom Fall Fest is BACK for 2026 – and this year, there’s an entirely new food experience to try!
Kennywood has added five tasting booths around the lagoon featuring a whole lineup of fall-inspired foods. Think Bites & Pints, but with a fall twist! We tried as much as we possibly could, including pierogies, bratwurst & sauerkraut, a Bavarian pretzel, smoked mac & cheese, chili in a bread bowl, churro bites, a caramel bacon brownie, and our absolute favorite – the hot apple dumpling with ice cream!
Of course, we couldn’t visit Kennywood without riding some roller coasters, too! Come along with us for a full afternoon at our home park as we ride our favorites, explore Phantom Fall Fest, and eat our way around the lagoon.
If you’re like us and enjoy visiting amusement parks in the fall but DON’T love haunted houses or scare actors, Phantom Fall Fest is a great way to experience Kennywood during spooky season. During the daytime, families can enjoy the park before the scarier side of Phantom Fall Fest takes over in the evening.
At 6pm, Phantom’s ghouls come out to play! The nighttime portion of the event brings out the scare actors, scare zones, and haunts – which means that’s our cue to head home.
If you’re planning a visit to Kennywood’s Phantom Fall Fest in 2026, we hope this vlog gives you a look at what to expect, especially all of the NEW food options this year!

And because: what’s a blog post without photos? Here are just a few (these are just iPhone snaps, the concentration for the day was reviewing the food and having fun as a family – so I left my big camera at home.)
