It was one of those crazy oh-so-bright-and-sunny days one moment, and then the next moment it was dark & the wind was blowing, and the next moment it was all blizzard-ing, and then oh look! The sun is out again – kind of days! A challenge to photograph in – absolutely – but so much fun because of all the variety!
This family is super special – last year I photographed some special family photos for them & I am so honored that they contacted me again this year! We wanted to do something fun & different & in throwing around a few ideas, we decided on going to a Christmas Tree Farm. Jenn told me that the boys had never been to a Christmas Tree Farm and it was so fun to introduce them to the wonders of us crazy people who cut down our own tree for Christmas.
Thanks to handy-dandy Google, we found a farm which I absolutely have fallen in love with! Mann’s Country Gardens is in Gillett, PA & is super adorable! The folks who own the place are very friendly & helpful & I wanted to give them a shout-out for allowing us to come take photographs on their property! They have a small gift shop [if you don’t have any extra cash, definitely don’t go in there because it’s almost impossible to walk out without buying something! Yes, it’s one of those gift shops!] – in the spring they have flower gardens & in the fall a pumpkin patch! They have so many fun spots on their property and we had a fabulous time roaming around! If you are one of those crazy people who likes to cut down your own Christmas Tree – totally head out to Mann’s – it’s awesome!
What a beautiful family! I love the variety and how cool that you could get so many photos of different weather conditions!
Ahhhh it snowed! Perfection! Great photos!
I really love the picture in front of the bridge 🙂

[…] mean, wasn’t it just yesterday that we were freezing our butts off at a Christmas Tree Farm doing family photos? Time has such a terrible way of speeding by though and it was my absolute pleasure to reconnect […]
