Hollywood Studios was our final Walt Disney World park during our big Florida trip this year (it wasn’t our final park, but our final DISNEY park). It was bittersweet. We were really smart to save Hollywood for last, because by then, we had visited two other Disney parks & had gotten pretty good at working the...
I’ve lived through many days that I wish I could slow down time in, and our day at Magic Kingdom was definitely one of those days. There truly is no where else like the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. We’ve visited amusement parks all across the country, and there is just...
It has been 13 very very long years since I last set foot on Walt Disney World property. After working as a cast member (part of the Disney College Program) for 8 months and being in the parks just about every single day, I never dreamed that I would leave and not return for THIRTEEN years....

Hi! I'm Kara!
Welcome to my blog!
I'm a Pittsburgh-based wedding photographer and wedding content creator with a love for storytelling, both on wedding days and beyond.
I've been part of the wedding industry since 2009, documenting 250+ wedding days and helping couples preserve the moments, big and small, that make their day uniquely theirs.
When I'm not working a wedding, you'll probably find me creating videos for my personal YouTube channel, The Adventuring Abbeys, where my family and I share our love of amusement parks, roller coasters, and travel.
Around here, you'll find wedding inspiration and behind-the-scenes content, family adventures, amusement park visits, travel stories, and a little bit of everyday life.
I'm so glad you're here!
