After meeting at that fateful New Year’s Eve party, Danielle & Tyler were pretty much inseparable. In fact, it was fairly obvious to everyone around them that this pair had something special going on. So special, in fact, that just a few months after they started dating, they went on a trip together – to Disney World.
Everyone thought they were a little bit crazy, but Danielle loves Disney (she’s 100% my kind of girl!) and during that trip, Tyler got a good taste of just how much his girlfriend really, truly, loves all-things-Disney & Disney World. They had only been dating for a few months, so Tyler wasn’t quite ready to propose yet, but the wheels started turning for a day in the future, when he would be ready to propose.
Fast forward in time, and Danielle & Tyler found themselves once again planning a vacation together. As they tossed around ideas about where they could go, one of them mentioned: “Well, we could just go back to Disney.” They laughed & half-heartedly tried to come up with another location, but then they said, “Seriously though, why don’t we just go back to Disney World?” And so they did.
And Tyler’s proposal plans were officially set in motion.
Of course, trying to keep the ring & his proposal plans secret wasn’t quite as easy as it sounds: Tyler’s suitcase got “randomly flagged” as they were going thru airport security & he had to stand by & watch as the airport security personal opened his suitcase & rummaged thru its’ contents. Then, he had to keep the ring secret as they went thru Disney security at the front gates of Magic Kingdom (can you just picture the poor guy sweating bullets as he has to get thru all of these security checkpoints?)
With dinner reservations made and a prepaid unlimited PhotoPass card, Tyler guided Danielle down Main Street toward the castle. He had scoped out his spot & as he casually suggested they have their photo taken before dinner, Danielle wholeheartedly agreed. After all – this was her favorite place in the whole wide world!
Tyler approached the PhotoPass Photographer, and as he set his bag at her feet, he whispered to her that he was going to propose. She went into “game mode” and snapped away as Tyler made his way back over to Danielle. He got down on one knee right there in the middle of Main Street USA & asked his best friend to marry him. Of course, Danielle said yes. And thanks to that PhotoPass Photographer, they have a whole slew of images to prove the moment happened! (Aren’t PhotoPass Photographers the BEST? *cough* I was a PhotoPass Photographer once upon a time *cough*)
This past Saturday – on the most popular wedding day of 2019 – Danielle & Tyler officially got married. It was literally the most gorgeous, perfect, fairy tale of a wedding day – filled to the brim with laughter, happy tears, and lots of love.
Tyler & Danielle – I always love standing back & just watching things unfold on wedding days. I love to listen to the conversations & stories that get told and the comments that guests make. It thrilled my heart to hear nothing but the highest praise for you both as a couple. Your family & friends simply could not stop themselves from commenting on your happiness – your smiles & laughter were so contagious!! The “wedding world” called 10-19-19 the most popular wedding date of 2019, but I would dare to say that of all the couples who tied the knot last Saturday – you two are probably the happiest! I loved every single moment of celebrating with you both!!
As Danielle & her bridesmaids relaxed before putting on their gowns – I love that they recounted the story of the New Year’s Eve party that Danielle & Tyler met at!
So, as much as Danielle & Tyler love Disney, they also love Harry Potter. Tyler’s boutonniere was pinned with a “Hufflepuff” pin & he presented Danielle with a beautiful “Gryffindor” necklace during their first look!
Are these girls not the sweetest?!
Before their First Look, Danielle & Tyler exchanged letters to one another – just another sweet & simple way of personalizing & making their wedding day more special!
I simply cannot get over this moment between Danielle & her Mom!
Danielle wanted to do a First Look with her bridesmaids & I love everyone’s reactions! Some of her girls simply squealed with joy, some broke down into tears, and they all instantly gathered her into a huge hug.
Danielle & Tyler chose to see each other before their ceremony & have a First Look. You could definitely tell that they both were pretty nervous & anxious heading into them seeing each other, but as soon as they were together – all of those nerves & anxiety just fell off & they were instantly at ease. (One of my favorite reasons to do a First Look!)
I have so many “favorite” photos from Saturday – but this one is up at the top of the list!
Check out that sky!!
Another strong contender for “favorite image of the day” – Danielle’s dress was perfect for twirling!
On to the reception!
I’m so glad I don’t have to simply pick one “favorite” image – because I don’t think I would ever be able to!
Danielle & Tyler did the “traditional” dollar dance – and I love that the DJ played the traditional Pittsburgh Polka! But my favorite part was when Danielle & Tyler’s guests surrounded Danielle & straight up refused to let Tyler break through!! He tried so hard! And for so long! Their guests were just relentless though!! (And eventually, he found a “soft spot” of ladies who “let” him break in & rescue his bride!) It was epic.
