Some days at Cedar Point don’t go according to plan – and somehow end up even better.
We headed to Cedar Point to celebrate XscreamThrills’ birthday and Father’s Day, expecting a fun summer day at the park. Instead, threatening weather kept the crowds away, a major storm shut down the entire park for nearly two hours, and even the arcade games weren’t cooperating!
But once the skies cleared, everything changed.
With light crowds and walk-on coasters almost everywhere, we packed in an incredible evening of rides. My daughter and I even scored one of the rarest experiences a Millennium Force fan can hope for: an exit station load during parent swap – something coaster enthusiasts know almost never happens.
This trip was also our first time testing out our new Meta Ray-Ban glasses on roller coasters, so you’ll get to see what it’s like riding some of Cedar Point’s biggest attractions from a whole new perspective! (I have LOTS of thoughts after testing them at Cedar Point, Kennywood, Kings Island, and Kentucky Kingdom – so expect a full review coming soon!)
