I think it’s finally safe to declare that spring has arrived!
(Never mind the snow and freezing temps we had last week – we’ve put that behind us.)
The calendar officially has turned over to spring and with the month of April just about behind us and May flowers in front of us – this seemed the perfect time to share some ideas to “spice up” your home video collection and spark your creativity!
Spring is an amazing season to take videos of your life! Everything is bursting with life and color – it doesn’t take much to ignite your creativity on fire!
I asked my Instagram followers a few weeks ago what they would include on a “spring bucket list” for home videos and the number one answer I got was: “jumping in puddles”. Many people said that that was their first thought – and I have to admit, it was my first thought too! Spring means lots of rain (after all, “April showers bring May flowers”), and lots of rain means lots of puddles!
A good chunk of our yard becomes a huge mud puddle in the spring, so one of my children’s favorite activities is putting on their rain boots and stomping through the mud. Of course, this also means our dog gets a bath twice a day some days! It just can’t be helped (and wiping her paws off with a towel at the door just does not cut it some days).
While jumping in puddles (and playing with the slo-mo feature on your phone) is a ton of fun, there is so much more to spring!
And I have some ideas to get your creative juices flowing!
I challenge you to make this list your own – have fun and enjoy this beautiful spring season!
