What Is PASS?

I am not good at wrapping presents.
I always start out with such bold & creative intentions – it’s going to be wrapped with perfect paper, crisp corners, neat folds, clear tape, no wrinkles, no hint of what the item inside is, tied with a ribbon, and a flowy bow on top. I have fantasies about wrapping a gift & having it look so amazing that you don’t even want to rip into it because it’s a work of art.
But, more often then not, my gifts get tossed into a bag with a lonely piece of tissue paper on top.
The gift inside – now that I can do! My husband always teases me that I spend too much time thinking about & planning the perfect gift!
But the presentation of that item: it’s just not an art that I’m good at.

That’s one of the reasons I love PASS – the program I use to deliver digital negatives to my clients. It wraps up my photos and presents them in such a beautiful way. I don’t even have to worry about the bow on top – it’s so clean & neat that it doesn’t even need one!

You can choose to download all of your images at one time, you can download just one image at a time individually, or you can choose to download a specific group of images by favoriting them and then telling PASS to only download your favorites folder.

Like I said: most brides & grooms want to show off their photos & PASS makes it super easy to do that! Sure, you could download all of your photos and then upload them to Facebook – but that’s super time-consuming! Why not cut out the middle step & let PASS upload your photos straight to Facebook, or Twitter, or Pinterest? It can absolutely do that!

The most important thing that I always stress to my clients is: print your images! They aren’t meant to live on a hard drive or in the cloud forever! Give them as gifts, hang them on your walls, scrapbook them! Just print them! Again, you can absolutely download all of your photos and then upload them to a lab for printing – but like sharing on social media – that’s time-consuming! Why not cut out the middle step & order prints straight through PASS? You can do that! It’s so simple & you can rest assured that your images will look fabulous as they are being printed by a professional lab & delivered right to your door!

PASS is amazing – but the BEST part about PASS is it stores your images for 10 years. TEN years! You can keep coming back and looking through your gallery, downloading & sharing your images! CDs and DVDs get scratched & most new computers do not have CD-ROM drives. USBs get lost & eventually new computers won’t even have USB ports.
