Our Second Trip to Kings Island | 2020 Edition

When you have season passes to Cedar Fair parks & a free weekend – why not take a drive & go ride some roller coasters?

And that’s exactly what we did back in August! 2020 was the year of “spontaneous trips” for our family & I must say: it was so much fun.

I had a free weekend from photographing weddings & so we packed up the kids & the car and headed out to Ohio to visit Cedar Point & Kings Island.

We’d been to both of these parks once already in 2020, but we felt like we needed just a little bit more, so we went back, because, why not?

We spent a day & a half at Kings Island – with the most spectacular sunset we’d ever seen bringing our first day at the park to a glorious close.
Our second day was met with crazy crowds & hot temperatures, so we left a little earlier than we’d originally planned. Even though we were sad to leave – we were heading off to another surprise – one I still cannot believe that we were able to keep secret from the kids (but, that’s another video, coming soon!)
