Miranda & Josh’s wedding day was perfect.
And by “perfect” I don’t mean “completely free of faults or defects” because they couldn’t seem to get away from the little snags that always follow wedding days: running behind schedule & having to start the ceremony 30 minutes late, all of the flower embellishments falling off of one of the bridesmaid’s dresses, almost having to walk down the aisle without the flowers because they were delivered so late, the DJ’s speaker blowing over right after the ceremony finished, having beautiful blue skies & glorious sunshine but a chilly wind that kept everyone in their jackets during the ceremony, and having a nephew stick his finger in the cake before it was cut. Technically, their day was far from perfect in that sense of the definition. But, no matter what happened, Miranda & Josh rolled with the punches, all the time never losing their excitement or overflowing love for each other. And in that sense – their wedding day at Pine Cradle Lake was perfect.
And it’s no wonder they seem to have this sort of epic love for each other – I think even a blind person could have seen the love that was spilling over from their friends & family in the form of many happy tears, outbursts of squealing, and innumerable hugs. Nothing could dim their excitement. Everyone was truly beyond happy for Miranda & Josh and this day that had finally arrived.
Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your gorgeous wedding day!! I loved meeting your family & friends & can’t wait to see you guys again this summer!!
I miss everyone. I had such an amazing time celebrating with all. <3
