Lola // Irwin, PA // Pet Photographer

Once upon a time, when I was just starting out with photography and trying to figure out what I wanted to specialize in – I thought it might be pet photography. Seriously – how fun would that be? Hang out with people’s dogs & cats all the time? I thought it would be awesome! It unfortunately never got off the ground. And that’s when I realized that I really loved shooting weddings too & moved my business in that direction.

Luckily – whenever I have the urge to photograph a dog, Abby’s pretty good about obliging me! And since I post a lot of photos of my dog [she’s featured every Saturday!], my wedding couples tend to bring along their pets to their engagement sessions & sometimes their weddings! It’s SO much fun! So, see? I basically get the best of both worlds!

So, when Amanda contacted me, wanting to celebrate her dog, I jumped all over that opportunity! A photo session centered entirely around a sweet pup? Yes, please! I loved getting to meet Lola! She’s a mini-poodle Amanda & Ed rescued shortly after they got married. She is such a sweet little fluff-ball! And her people simply love her and it’s so easy to see why! I loved hanging out in their gorgeous backyard and concentrating just on Lola!
Of course, we had to get some photos of her super adorable owners as well!
