Mike really wasn’t interested in getting his pictures taken. After we took the first set in the first spot, he asked: “Is that it?”

I am beyond excited that he agreed to stick it out a little longer though because his & Lindsay’s engagement photos turned out to be some of my very favorite I have ever taken! I think I say that after every session, but there was just something very special about Lindsay & Mike. Something more than just a spark, there was a beautiful glow between the two of them. A glow that only comes about when a couple goes through some challenges and comes out on the other side stronger and more in love than ever.

Lindsay & Mike met while Mike was home from Afghanistan. A friendship blossomed into the spark of love and before either quite realized what had happened, life just didn’t seem the same when they were separated. Through job changes, house hunting, temporarily living with Lindsay’s parents, their relationship has only gotten stronger. Then came this past spring, when there was another test: Lindsay is a stylist & she lost her salon to a fire. Through the whole process, Mike was her strongest supporter, cheering her on to rebuild. She has made giant strides forward in the last few months and I am so excited to report that her business is better than ever!

Their wedding is right around the corner in just a few weeks and I cannot wait to celebrate with them! It is going to be amazing!
