Leander's 3rd Birthday | A Disney Mickey Mouse Party in Irwin, PA

Somehow, our sweet baby boy is now THREE years old! (Mama can’t believe it – wasn’t he just born, like, a few months ago?)

We celebrated Leander’s birthday all weekend long.
His actual birthday was Friday and we celebrated by going to Kennywood Park for another round (visit #3 of the year) of Holiday Lights! This time, we took a bunch of people with us: Auntie Ellen & Uncle Jonathan, Alethea & Layla, Grandma & Auntie Ruby! We had a blast & Leander especially loved being at Kennywood with his cousins!

I mean, seriously: is there a better way to celebrate your birthday than a trip to Kennywood?? (All of the photos from that night were taken with my iPhone, just in case you’re curious!)

The pinnacle event though was his birthday party on Saturday night! Much to the joy of his Mama’s Disney-loving-heart, we hosted a Mickey Mouse themed birthday party, here at our house! Complete with streamers, balloons, and an awesome Mickey Mouse cake (baked by Mommy, assembled by the amazing Auntie Ruby).

Being 3 years old, Leander fully “understands” what a birthday party is – he understands there are presents (which he opened with gusto – he audibly “gasped” when he opened every single gift!), he loved having a house full of his favorite people, and he is PRO at blowing out his candles! We literally had SO much fun on Saturday night!

Of course, the exclamation point on the evening was when Daddy brought down Leander’s “big” gift – a Hot Wheels Criss Cross Crash Track Set – I’m not sure who was more excited to play with it: Leander, or his Daddy & Uncles? Regardless, it was a HUGE hit & remains a top toy in our house!
