When Kristin & Brad met, they very quickly realized that they had so much in common: a love for the sciences, a heart for entrepreneurship, a bit of a nerdy side, and a passion for wine.
And not just “oh, they like a nice glass of wine every now & then” – no, they love wine, and wineries, and wine-touring, and all-the-wine-things.
Over the course of their relationship, they have been on multiple wine tours, adventuring up to Erie & beyond to visit new wineries & try new wines.
In other words: it only made sense for Brad to propose to Kristin with a bottle of wine.
Last November, Brad had a very special bottle of wine custom engraved with a very important question. And this wasn’t just a quick little etching either, it was a gorgeous, elaborate engraving, complete with the date & the question: “Will you marry me?”
How could Kristin say no?
This past Saturday was the big day! It was the most gorgeous fall day – crisp yet warm, sunny & literally zero chance of rain (that rarely happens!) The day was perfect – but my favorite part was the very beginning: I stopped into Moments Rental Hall (where Kristin & Brad’s reception was being held) on my way over to begin my day with Kristin. Inside was Brad – he was dropping a few things off, and as we stood in the middle of the sea of tables chit-chatting, he noticed that one of the place settings was missing a napkin. I’d venture to say: most guys wouldn’t even notice that the napkin was missing, but Brad did. And not only did he notice, but he did something about it – off he went in search of napkins in order to fix the setting. And then, he proceeded to walk around each table & double-check every other setting, just to be sure that everything was perfect.
I don’t know about you – but Brad sounds like a keeper to me.
Kristin & Brad – thank you so much for inviting me into your wedding day celebration! I loved every moment – from pulling up outside of your house and the sounds of music & laughter drifting out to greet me, to hopping on your party bus & seeing your closest friends & family cheering & just so so happy, to seeing how much you cared for & treasured the presence of each & every one of your guests – Saturday was amazing.
Enjoy every single second of finally being married & soak up all the sunshine while your on your honeymoon in Hawaii!!
Kristin wore her Grandma’s wedding rings in her memory on Saturday – I loved how similar Kristin’s ring & her Grandma’s rings were! Just goes to prove that classic gold & diamonds never go out of style!
I’m just going to warn you now, these sweet boys are Kristin’s nephews & they absolutely stole the show!! They were so sweet & handsome – there are lots of photos of them in this blog post & I won’t apologize for it!
Kristin & Brad decided that they wanted to use Main Street in Downtown Irwin as their portrait location! Since Irwin, PA is my hometown too – it was especially fun to use the street & sidewalks & doorways along Main Street for their photos!
And then it was on to Moments Rental Hall!
I told you these boys stole the show!
