I {Heart} Faces || Girls ||

This month’s I Heart Faces theme is “Let’s hear it for the girls”!
I’ll be honest – usually when I Heart Faces announces their theme, several images come to mind & I have to choose which one I am going to post. This one kind of challenged me though. Recently, I seem to be photographing a lot of Mamas with their little boys – so that wouldn’t work – I dug through photos of my sisters, my niece, images of brides & their bridesmaids, nothing just seemed to really jump out at me. And then I remembered this series of images – and it just seemed perfect.

I know it’s Mother’s Day this weekend – and you may assume this to be a Mother’s Day image – but it’s not.
This is an Auntie with her precious little niece.
I love this image: how happy they are, the fact that they’re both wearing pink, and the way the babe’s little fists are tucked up under her chin. So precious!
