Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Tis the season to be more mindful of how amazing life truly is and how we need to be living with grateful hearts every single day. So without further ado, here’s just a peek at the list of what I’m most thankful for:
Braelynn’s blond, slowly getting longer, hair
New windows
The smell of dinner cooking in the crockpot
Sunshine
The sound of Derrick coming in the door from work
Christmas lights
Hitting “send” on a completed gallery
Books
Braelynn & Abby’s friendship
Amazon
Long, hot, uninterrupted showers
Crunchy leaves
Unexpected texts from friends
Iced coffee
Inexpensive hard drive space
Naptimes
A hard working, dedicated, loving husband
And, because what is a post without photos? Here are a few of the family photos that our favorite photographer, Ellen, took of us a few weeks ago! Make sure you scroll all the way to the end, it just gets better!
AND! Just in case you thought that being a photographer’s family would make family portraits easier, or just in case you were getting the impression that we were a perfect family, here’s some photos to prove otherwise! (notice everyone cooperating but the dog)
Then the dog cooperates and we lose the child.
Cue the tears. Also, notice our honorary family members: Winnie & Daniel! It was either take photos with them, or don’t take photos, so we went the easy route and said they could be in our photos.
Our helper (who we love so much and don’t know what we’d do without) RooRoo, catching the little runaway & bringing her back.
Not a happy camper (especially since Winnie & Daniel were playing without her)
Waterworks! And a clear signal to be done!
