Don’t you just love high-school sweet-heart love stories? Meeting while still in school, seeing each other almost every day in class, giggling with your friends about “that guy”, trying to impress “that girl” – knowing each other when life is young & big & endless & boundless. Oh & let’s not forget – being voted “student with best hair” – and then college days arrive & he decides to cut it short & it decides to rebel & not come back. Ahhh, young love.

I met Drew & Katy thru Michael & Alise [who’s engagement photos I did a few months ago – if you haven’t seen those – they are a MUST!] Katy & Alise are best friends – the type of best friends who promise to have each other in their weddings & make good on those promises! Drew & Katy are getting married in just a few short weeks – a beautiful October fall wedding that plans to be absolutely fabulous. Michael & Alise – being the fan-freakin-tastic friends that they are – wanted to gift their very special friends with an engagement session & I am SO glad that they did! We had so much fun, plus, they introduced me to one of my new favorite photo spots: Park Station. Who knew that such a gorgeous & peaceful park lived just 30 minutes away from me?

I loved how they incorporated the fall season into their photos – with their boots & cozy sweaters in warm colors – even though the leaves had just begin to change, you can just feel the season in the air when looking at their photos. It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!
