Deep Creek Lake, Maryland obviously holds a very special place in my family’s life. If you are unfamiliar with our story, my Great-Grandfather bought a tiny little shack on this perfect piece of lake-front property a long long time ago. Overtime, my Great-Grandparents, and then my Grandparents, and then my Parents built the Lake House into what it is today. That means Braelynn & Leander are the 5th generation to enjoy our Lake House on Deep Creek Lake – talk about an incredible legacy!
Deep Creek Lake has always been a popular place for people to come & relax (especially from the Pittsburgh, PA area). “Lake Life” is much different from “Beach Life”: it’s quieter, more relaxed, slower-paced, but still has all the sun, warmth, & water most people desire for vacation (especially for those of us who don’t live near water). And as amazing as Deep Creek Lake is, I still feel like it’s a “little known secret” (in other words, shhhh, don’t spoil it for us). It’s not overly touristy & still has that wonderful small-town slow-paced feel.
I love that vacationing families love Deep Creek Lake. And I love when vacationing families decide to make their trips even more memorable with professional photographs!! I’ve had the privilege of photographing quite a few sweet families this summer who have come to the Lake to get away from it all.
And these guys are no exception! These two sweet families rented a house together & spent a whole week enjoying & deepening their friendship. Aren’t they just the sweetest?
