So, here’s a little known fact about Braelynn – she wears cloth diapers.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: pins and plastic pants, diaper changes that take 15 minutes to complete, leaking, poop in your washing machine, so much effort! Can I reassure you? Most of those are complete myths!
Cloth diapering has transformed in the last decade or so. It is totally different from when my Grandma was cloth diapering my Dad. It has come into the 21st century and the new cloth diapers are so modern – it is amazing! There are no more pins (I can’t imagine, I would be so terrified of stabbing myself & Braelynn if we had to use those old huge pins!), with a little practice diaper changes take the same amount of time as disposables, and as long as you wear the correct size – leaking is never an issue! They are environmentally friendly and 100% safe for the babe (let’s not talk about the amount of chemicals and nasty stuff in disposable diapers).
But all that aside – the reason we chose to use cloth diapers with Braelynn is the cost. Have you priced diapers recently? They are so expensive! And you literally throw them away – sometimes after only being on the babe for a few minutes. Cloth diapers may be a bit of an investment up front, but over the period of time that is birth to potty training, the savings is huge. They say that on average, parents spend up to $2,000 on disposable diapers per child. Depending on what type of cloth diapers you decide to go with, your investment in cloth diapers will vary, but the average cost to cloth diaper a baby from birth to potty training is $240. That’s a potential savings of $1,740! On top of that: cloth diapers can be used from child to child (treat your diapers with love & care!) and if in good condition, can be resold when you no longer need them! Sorry, but to my frugal brain, it is a no brainer.
I love my cloth diapers! They are cute and give me peace of mind that what I am putting against my baby’s delicate skin is safe.
So, like I said, there are several different types of cloth diapers out there: pockets, all-in-ones, pre-folds + covers. My Mom got me a “sample” pack when Braelynn was just born and I got to try out 12 different types and different brands of diapers to find what would work best for me & Braelynn. I loved the pre-folds & covers and decided to go that route.
Up to this point (14 months of cloth diapering), I had a favorite brand, but recently I noticed that they seemed to be deteriorating a little bit (trust me, the diaper that was beginning to show wear was heavily loved – it was the cover I used with Braelynn most often!) so, I decided to do a little research and see if there were any better options out there.
I found Buttons Diapers and I fell in love all over again.
They were gracious enough to send me 2 diapers and some liners to try out and review in exchange for some adorable photos of my little munchkin. I was so excited to give them a try and I couldn’t be happier with them!
They are so so soft! I was amazed at how soft the magical cloth diaper fabric (it’s called PUL) was – how do they make it so soft? These diapers are extremely well made with 2 layers of the PUL. I love that the Buttons Diapers are all made with snaps instead of velcro! Snaps seem to last & wear so much better than velcro does! The snaps on the Buttons Diapers are super tight too – I don’t have any worries about Braelynn trying to take off her diaper in the middle of the night! Not that she’s ever tried that yet, but I’m sure one day she might. They are also made with double-gussets! Literally nothing can get out of these diapers! Blow-outs are just about impossible! It’s something I didn’t even realize until I put Braelynn in disposable diapers on vacation last year and she instantly had a blow-out! She has only pooped through a cloth diaper once – and that alone is worth signing up and getting some!
Check out how adorable they come to you in the mail! Tied with a string, wrapped in tissue paper! It doesn’t get more exciting than that!
I LOVE that they also come with directions! When I was first starting out – it was so hard to figure out how exactly to make them work – so many snaps! Not only do your Buttons Diapers come with “how-to-use” instructions, but there are also information about prepping and cleaning your diapers too! Invaluable information!
Check out how cute my little babe is in these diapers! They are amazing!
This is her “okay Mom, enough photos, please!” face.
I received 2 free diaper covers & a set of diaper inserts in exchange for photographing and writing a review on my blog. All opinions are truthful and entirely my own!

After the first dosage (1 tablet once took the floor) felt the impact for about an hour, it was insatiable wishes. But after a roost with a partner, about a couple of hours in front of the discomfort began, some sort of dry straight, but it passed quickly. The next time you take Viagra, this was not, I think maybe it’s all because the first period it is affecting, and maybe I was just unlucky. Although I am taking tablets from one package. Maybe someone will be useful, the price is cheap, and send quickly http://rxviagranoprescription.com.
