Who’s excited for a new video?
When I posted my very first YouTube video last week, I promised that I didn’t know how regularly I would be creating videos – and well, here I am, one week later, posting another video. These videos are just so much fun to make! They are literally the perfect quarantine “creative” outlet I need right now!!
After I made last week’s video specifically talking to my 2020 brides & grooms – I wanted to create something a bit more generic – something for my website talking to everyone who landed on my homepage. So, I created a short introduction video! This one was actually MUCH more challenging to make, mostly because I wanted to cram a solid amount of information into a short video (and if you saw my video last week, you know that I can definitely talk a lot).
I love how it turned out!
So, yes! Now the homepage on my website has a video introduction on it! How fun is that? It’s so fun to finally cross something off of my “website bucket list” that’s been there forever.
Of course, now my head is running rampant with other video ideas. Both brand new content that lends itself more toward video than just me writing about a topic, as well as going back into my old “Wedding Questions” blog posts, and updating them with videos of their own (I’ve written over 60 blog posts specifically answering wedding photography & wedding day questions, did you know that?) I would like to put a video on every single one of the pages on my website, plus have a few “hidden” pages – with content just for my brides & grooms (how exciting is that?!)
Needless to say, I’ve got ideas to carry me into next year & beyond. Ideas for new content abound & it’s something I never seem to run out of! The only trick is finding a bubble of quiet time in my day to actually push the record button – my two little muchkins sure know how to make a lot of noise – especially when Mom asks them to be “quiet”!
No matter! These videos are a lot of fun to make & now that I’ve figured out some of the logistics of it, I’m so excited to keep going! Stay tuned for more!
