They say if you can keep a friendship going with someone for 7 years – you’ll be friends for life.
Well – these two have made it – in fact they’ve surpassed the 7 year mark. They officially met at birth – well maybe a few days later. They were babies in the nursery of the homeschool co-op both families attended. In the middle somewhere, there was a few years when Chelsea attended Christian school & they weren’t as close, but about 6th grade they were reunited again at the co-op & have been inseparable every since.
They’re the type of best friends that literally have more inside jokes than one could count. Laughing is more prevalent than talking during most of their conversations. Bursting into random song, dance, or movie quotes is completely natural. They kind of have their own language that no one else except the two of them understand.
They showed up at my door one morning and I knew something was up because they were both dressed, had on makeup, and their hair was done [for college-age girls at 9am – that is weird] “Would you take some pictures of us?” they wanted to know. “We need some updated pictures.” So off we went, to the backyard, for a quick best friend photo session – complete with hugs, skipping, laughter, and walrus faces.
