You know those couples who announce that they’re getting married and everyone heaves a sigh of relief and says “FINALLY!” Logan and Alisha fall into that category.
Their story starts 7 years ago when they met online and they instantly hit it off.
They went to DeNunzios for their first date and Logan showed up at Alisha’s door with a bouquet of flowers: like a true gentleman. That first date solidified what they each already had an inkling of knowing – there was something extra special about this.
What puts them in the “FINALLY” category though isn’t the fact that they’ve known each other for 7 years (although, okay, it kind of does).
But moreso: Logan proposed to Alisha almost 4 years ago. What makes their proposal story fun is that each of them remembers a slightly different version – but regardless, the bones of the story remain the same. They were home, preparing to leave to go bowling as a family, when out-of-the-blue, super casual, right there in the living room, Logan asked Alisha to marry him. (Spoiler alert: she said, “Yes!”)
Even though they officially got engaged, they weren’t ready to jump into wedding planning right away – which is what lands them in a pool of whispered: “FINALLY!”s this past Saturday (officially the most beautiful Saturday anyone couple possibly ask for in the month of October)
My job on a wedding day is to be an active observer. Especially when I’m serving the day in the role of Wedding Day Content Creator – it is my job to observe.
My hands-down favorite thing about Saturday was observing just how much Logan adores Alisha. He could make her smile, laugh, and light up like no one else could. Doing a First Look isn’t for everyone, but it was the perfect choice for Logan and Alisha because as soon as they saw each other, you could visibly see all the stress and chaos of the day melt away as they centered themselves on each other and the fact that it was THEIR wedding day.
Logan obviously adores Alisha in the deepest way possible, but what makes it so beautiful is that Alisha radiates that love right back to him. She very obviously adores him back – and not just because he knows how to make her laugh and how to make her happy – but because he’s her person. If I’ve ever met a couple who was obviously meant to be, the kind of stuff soul-mates are made of, it’s Logan and Alisha. And more than anything, that’s what made Saturday’s wedding so beautiful and wonderful to be a part of.
Huge shout-out and thank you to the amazing team of vendors, as well as friends & family, who helped make Alisha & Logan’s wedding day absolutely perfect!
