D&K adventures: We went midnight bowling last night – I may or may not have taken a nap around 8pm so that I could go with Derrick & Adam. Let’s just say: I was laying down, warm & comfy, and reading, and I may have lost my place due to the book falling out of my hands. But it has yet to be determined whether the book fell due to me falling asleep or if it was a cruel prank Derrick was playing. Not really sure.
Abby’s antics: Spring has officially arrived & that means longer days and warmer weather [sometimes]! We’ve taken Abby for several walks this week and we’ve had to stop each time to visit her best friend: the chocolate lab who lives at the end of our street, who’s name also happens to be Abby. Going for walks after dinner is probably the best thing about spring’s arrival so far!
Radiating thankfulness: This week my two favorite movies from the year 2013 came out on BluRay!! They came out on Tuesday and Derrick went to WalMart to buy them – and Frozen was sold out. SOLD OUT. I thought he was joking around, but he said that he asked the guy in the electronics department and he said that they had been sold out since midnight! There was a line of people waiting to buy the movie & they were instantly sold out. That’s okay, because we couldn’t have watched both movies in one night anyway! So, we just waited until Thursday and then we were able to grab it. It’s been a fantastic movie week [thus the movie popcorn inspired Abby photo].
