D&K adventures: We’ve really been enjoying the X Factor this season – and by “we” I mean “I” with a little sprinkling of “we” thrown in. LOL I typically watch the show on my computer and D likes to listen and leave little comments – usually something along the lines of how he could do better. My favorite this year is Alex & Sierra – I told D last night that I plan to buy every single one of their albums because I simply adore them. Yes, I am that crazy fan girl.
Abby’s antics: Abby loves to snuggle right in between D & I in bed at night – I know, I’m sure there are people out there that are going to be totally appalled by that – sorry. Anyways, typically she starts out at the foot of our bed & by the time we wake up in the morning she has worked her way up to snuggle with us. Well, last night – she was no only successful at snuggling in between us, but she was also successful at stealing ALL of my blankets!! I woke up because I was cold. Since when did ownership of the bed become her’s??!
Radiating thankfulness: I was so pumped! Came home from work last night to find a box of Gertrude Hawk peanut butter chocolate sitting on my counter – SCORE! I immediately knew what my Day 8 thankfulness Instagram was for the day & quickly took a picture & sent a shout out to my hubby for bringing me home such an awesome-sauce gift [along with popping 1 or 2 of those bad boys in my mouth of course!]. Well, a few minutes later, D got the notification on his phone that I had posted something and he literally laughed out loud and said: “Those aren’t exactly for you – they were part of a package one of the local hotels sent over to us at the hospital & I’ve had them in my desk and been munching on them since Tuesday & didn’t want to leave them there over the weekend, so I brought them home.” And here I was thinking he was being super-duper-awesome-nice-to-me & he didn’t have a thought of me at all!
