D&K adventures: We had an impromptu date night last night! Our original plans kind of fell apart which meant a date night fell together – we had a fabulous time, splitting our absolute favorite pizza [it’s a steak pizza with balsamic vinaigrette stuff on top – AMAZING] and then we walked over to our small town theater to see Catching Fire. It wins, hands down, my favorite movie of the year award!! It was actually better than the first Hunger Games movie and gets major props for being so true to the book! Go see it!
Abby’s antics: Abby’s been in the depths of despair since Buster [and my family] left on Monday afternoon. She’s really not sure what to do without her lil buddy around.
Radiating thankfulness: I’ll be honest: I’ve fallen a bit behind with my business. I fell a bit behind when I was sick a few weeks back & I have been scrambling to catch up ever since! It’s really tough – especially when you consider that my last few weeks have been busier than ever with family photos! Staying on top of things is my number 1 priority and when I fall off that horse, it’s crazy running after the silly thing trying to catch up & get back on! D & I had a heart -to-heart during dinner one night this week & he used his manly fixing skills to move some things off of my plate so I would have more time to get caught back up. He’s wonderful – and I’m so thankful I have him around to put things back into perspective for me & give me that extra boost I need to get back on the horse.
