What would you do if you went to Cedar Point and could only ride ONE roller coaster?
We visited Cedar Point for Halloweekends on my birthday, and the park was the busiest we have EVER seen it. We walked in at opening to 90-minute coaster waits, and by the time we finished our first ride, wait times had climbed to 150–180+ minutes!
So – we had to make a choice.
If we were only going to wait for ONE major coaster, which one would it be? Steel Vengeance? Top Thrill 2? Siren’s Curse? Since it was my birthday, I got to make the final decision!
But Halloweekends isn’t just about roller coasters and haunted attractions. One of the reasons we love visiting Cedar Point in the fall is how much there is for families to do during the day. We went trick-or-treating, tackled the corn maze and scavenger hunt, rode some flat rides, and enjoyed a beautiful (but chilly!) fall day before heading out ahead of the nighttime scares.
Come spend my birthday with us at Cedar Point Halloweekends – and tell us in the comments: If you could only ride ONE Cedar Point coaster, which one would you choose?
And because: what’s a blog post without photos? Here are just a few (these are just iPhone snaps, the concentration for the day was having fun as a family – so I left my big camera at home.)
