If you would have asked me 6 months ago, how important newborn photos were – I would have told you “super important!” because I’m a photographer after all & I thoroughly believe documenting life is important!
But after having a newborn of my own and watching a little babe grow & transform before my very eyes? My view on newborn photos has changed a little bit – now they are “omigosh – ESSENTIAL! do not miss them!!” Babies change & grow so fast!!
So after re-connecting with Shannon & Zach for their maternity photos – I was beyond excited when I saw the news on Facebook that their little man had entered the world!! Meet Mr. Quaid! Such a handsome little addition to Shannon & Zach’s family!
I have to admit, when I took these photos – I was a little less than 10 weeks away from my own due date and getting to see & hold & snuggle little Quaid was magical. I truly did not want to put him down to photograph him! It made me SO much more excited to meet my own little babe in a few weeks!
This handsome little dude is so thoroughly loved – not only does his Mama look at him with stars & hearts in her eyes [yes, just like the emoji!] but his Daddy watched over him with the fierce protectiveness of a Papa Bear. I don’t think Quaid will ever doubt the love his parents have for him.
