The 4th of July is definitely a special holiday in my book.
Not only do we get to picnic and eat yummy food, and light things on fire [like sparklers] and watching things blow up [like fireworks] but it’s the anniversary of the first weekend I saw and spent with Derrick after we initially met at Paul & Naomi’s wedding. He also so pleasantly has reminded me recently that I didn’t even really talk to him that whole weekend until about the last 2 hours before we left.
I love the 4th of July. And this year we celebrated on multiple occasions – Thursday night, which was the actual holiday, then Saturday night, which is when Sayre puts on their annual fireworks show [the show that I believe the whole of Bradford county turns out for].
Did I mention that sparklers are the BOMB & so much fun to photograph?? Well, they are!!
Excuse my iPhone’s poor quality – we were waiting for the fireworks to begin and it was already getting too dark for my iPhone to handle. Who could resist taking some fun pictures with their most handsome nephew though?
these are super wonderful fireworks pictures kara – great photographer!
