2025 Pre-Season Tour of Kennywood Park | Updates and Improvements

Kennywood Park opens for it’s 127th season in just FOUR DAYS!

As the park gears up to begin it’s longest season in Kennywood history (running from April 12, 2025 to January 4, 2026!) we were honored to get a sneak peek of all the exciting things coming to the park this year!

From the newly re-themed family section of the park called “Kennywood Junction” to the park’s Easter “Eggcellent Celebration” taking place weekends in April – the park is poised to have it’s best, most amazing season yet.

Over the off-season, the park has implemented a ton of updates, improvements, fresh paint, and new growth all over the entire property. The park truly looks better than ever and we are so excited for our summer evenings to be spent at Kennywood Park once again.

Obviously, Kennywood is our home park, so we’re quite biased – but we truly LOVE this park. Over the last few years, Kennywood has truly blossomed into a brand new era and we love seeing all the care and attention park management has been pouring into the property. The General Manager of the park (Ricky Spicuzza) has an amazing vision for the park and it’s truly incredible to witness as the park continues to build on it’s successes and release new and exciting things!

AND with the park’s upcoming purchase by Herschend Family Entertainment – we have high hopes that Kennywood’s legacy of family fun will continue for many years to come.
