2018 Favorites – Weddings

Are you ready? This is my largest blog post ever.
(And this is after I went in & ruthlessly chopped almost 100 images out! I simply photographed too many beautiful wedding days and too many happy & in love brides & grooms! Trust me, it’s a good problem to have.)

Ahhh, weddings.
A couple’s “Day One”.
One of the biggest & most monumental days of their life.
And no matter how much time is spent planning, preparing, scheduling, organizing, and delegating – a day when things still fall thru the cracks to make things perfectly imperfect.

I love that about weddings: that even though things may fall apart, they still somehow seem to fall together. And in most cases, the only people who realize that there is an “imperfection” is the bride & groom.

2018 was such an exciting year for weddings! It was full to the brim as I photographed my first wedding of the year in February & my last wedding in October (and every single month in between). It was a busy year (I won’t lie, as much as I love shooting weddings, I’ve been so grateful to have an “off-season” this year! It’s definitely made transitioning into having a second baby easier!) But 2018 was absolutely wonderful. Just looking thru these photos makes my heart so happy! So many fabulous couples, so many beautiful/crazy stories, so many perfect wedding days.
