2018 Favorites – Roller Coasters & Personal

It’s the second week of February! And that means I’m officially “late” to posting my 2018 Highlight Posts. However – I’m the boss of this operation! So, there is no such thing as “late”.

Yes, I typically post the highlights from the previous year in January, but my January this year kind of escaped from me (I know so many people were complaining that January was the slowest month of the year – it flew by for me!) So, instead of worrying about it, I just decided to kick off the month of February with my highlights! Like I said, I’m the boss – I can do whatever I want (insert evil laugh here).

So, last year I not only shared my favorite portraits, engagement, and wedding images, but I shared my favorite roller coaster images as well. With me shooting to specifically fuel Derrick’s Instagram & YouTube channels – it seemed only right to add that “genre” of highlights from our year.

In 2018, we didn’t go to as many amusement parks as we did in 2017 (and not as many amusement parks as Derrick would have liked). With me being pregnant all summer & having a super busy wedding season, it simply did not make sense to hustle around to a bunch of new parks. We did get season passes to Kennywood to help offset Derrick’s “need” for roller coasters and we were there about once a week. We also visited Idlewild Park, Knoebels, and Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA.

That being said, I don’t have quite as many roller coaster photos from 2018 as I did from 2017. So, I decided to mix in some of my favorite personal images into this post as well (see the statement about me being the boss & doing whatever I want).

So, what follows are my very favorite roller coaster & personal images from 2018! And, yes, this is just the beginning! Coming in the next few days will be my favorite portraits, engagement, and wedding images from last year! So, stay tuned!
