2014 Favorites – Portraits

Going through images from all the sessions I did over the course of a whole year and picking out “favorite” images is literally the impossible task.
Okay, maybe not “impossible” because obviously, I have done it HAHA But while going thru album upon album of images – it feels impossible! Especially at the end when you realize that you have wayy more images than you could ever compile into one blog post!

The problem is: every photoshoot I do is special to me in some way. Every image has a story. I so wish I could tell you all the stories associated with each image and why it got picked as a “favorite”. Some images are timeless & beautiful, but others are so much more – they make me laugh, take me back to warmer days, and remind me of the little stories as to why certain pieces of the image are special.

Thus the reason why this year, instead of really brutally cutting down my images to only show the top 40 like I did last year, I decided to break it up into 3 categories [portraits, engagements, & weddings] in order to show off my favorites of each, in a more manageable, swallow-able way.

So, to kick things off – these are my very favorite family, maternity, newborn and kid portraits from the year 2014 – in absolutely no particular order.
OH & PS – some of these images are from sessions that have never before been seen! That’s because by mid-October, I was shooting so many sessions, it was all I could do to turn the images back around & get them back to folks in a timely manner! I cannot wait to get “caught up” on blogging over the next few weeks & months & show off all the lovely people I photographed recently!
